Another Day In Paradise

Settling in and getting acquainted with the Deerfield’s secrets. I think I’m up for the task. This particular outing was pretty special. Lots of trout and dragonflies everywhere. I mean everywhere. What a day!

The Deerfield River

Another fantastic adventure on the deerfield river this morning. What a special place. Cold water, lots of hatches, a great supply of wild native trout and the sun kissing the water. Heaven must be close by. Some guided fly fishing businesses float this river with experienced anglers. I would love nothing more than that position. Time to take this fly fishing game more seriously and pursue my dream of becoming a fly fishing guide. Send some good vibes my way and wish me luck on this new discovery.

I just relocated to Western Massachusetts in pursuit of printmaking and fly fishing. This place is amazing. The Deerfield is one river that will be fished again and again.
