The Dan River!!!

Ah the Dan River. Nestled in the Kibbler Valley near Meadows of Dan VA lies this great stream. I planned a full day to explore this area so I headed out early to find all the sweet spots. Although locals tend to bombard sections of the Dan with their “gum” bait and Natty Ice cans, I found this river to be amazing. Clear water, lots of hatches and a cool breeze in the hot sun. This was one hell of a day.
